For the Record

Looking ahead at this week's schedule... have to get a fast post in now or there will be no post at all. Every hour basically from 7a - 10p is has something scheduled this week. Who said kids are boring?

Did my long run yesterday, 6 miles! The first 2 were the hardest. Not really any 'self-doubt' per se, just all of the, "mmm, this hurts, ouch that's tight" kind of business. Around mile 3 my mind changed a little bit as I ran down a street where there is a lot of new home construction going on. Karen's closest friend here has already purchased a lot and will be moving in June - assuming there is a house to move in to! So Karen wanted me to take a look and this was the best time to do it. Anyway, it was really mile 4 that things really settled in. At that point I was really feeling strong and felt like I was getting stronger, looser, etc. What a feeling! Those last 2 miles were not difficult at all. I got home, and Karen did a little post-run massage *try not to be too jealous*, I hit the showers, and ate dinner. What a great afternoon. It was frrrrrrrrreezing out there - so when I got inside, it felt like it was 100 degrees! Hope all of our east coast RBFers can dig out of the snow today! Have a great week gang.
